The names of the other movie stars in the John Travolta film being shot in Columbus have emerged.
Kristin Davis, who played Charlotte York in the “Sex and the City” TV series and movies, is among the co-stars of the movie filming June 9-24 in Columbus, according to the call-out for background actors.
Also listed as co-stars are Sean Astin, who played Mikey in “The Goonies” and Sam in “The Lord of the Rings” trilogy, and Lukas Haas, who played Nash in “Inception” and Samuel in “Witness.”
Georgia-based rapper Quavo, cofounder of the trio Migos, also is in the movie, along with Noel Gugliemi, who played Moreno in “Training Day,” according to TMZ.
This new Travolta movie is titled “Cash Out” and involves a bank robbery. Other details about the movie can be gleaned from the call-out for background actors, who are paid $50 per day. Casting officials were seeking folks for scenes depicting:
- Ages 18-80 from “all walks of life” to play bank customers and bank clerks, who are taken hostage by bank robbers.
- Ages 21-80 to play “swank” cocktail party attendees who are “wealthy, high class society, … sipping champagne and mingling.”
- FBI technicians “assessing and working around the clock outside a bank robbery in process.”
Deputy city manager Lisa Goodwin provided the Ledger-Enquirer with locations for scenes during the movie’s filming, under the condition that dates and times at these locations aren’t reported:
- Synovus Bank, 1148 Broadway, interior and exterior
- Freeze Frame Yogurt Shoppe, 1100 Broadway, exterior
- Lake Oliver Marina, 5501 River Road.
