“Cash Out” is the working title of the movie starring John Travolta that’s being filmed in Columbus.

And the plot involves a bank robbery.

VisitColumbusGA president and CEO Peter Bowden confirmed those details to the Ledger-Enquirer.

“That is what we’ve been told as well,” he said in an email to the L-E.

No wonder one of the scene locations for the movie’s filming is the Synovus Bank on Broadway in downtown Columbus, where the June 9-24 production will include a road closure, reduce on-street parking and slow flow for motorists and pedestrians.

Four graduates from the Georgia Film Academy at Columbus State University are working on this Travolta movie crew, CSU Department of Communication chairwoman and professor Danna Gibson told the L-E.
